Abstract

Amidst reports of sick and dead howler monkeys and ongoing entomological investigations in the Guyaguyare Forest, the ectoparasite, Amblyomma dissimile, is collected from the freshwater turtle, Rhinoclemmys punctularia (Daudin). It is lodged at the Caribbean Epidemiology Centre, Port of Spain, Trinidad.
