Abstract

Although Saut D'Eau or Marevaca Island is a Game Sanctuary, primarily for the purpose of protecting the only known nesting colony of Brown Pelicans in Trinidad and Tobago, its other avifauna has not been adequately surveyed or listed. A list is therefore given here of 27 species which have been recorded in the course of brief Club excursions to the island on 23 June 1963 and 19 May 1968. Nomenclature follows Herklots (1961).
