Abstract

In this Editorial, Victor Quesnel advocates against the carving out of a portion of The Royal Botanic Gardens to allow for the construction of the Governor General’s residence. He pleads the case for maintaining the Gardens intact, preserving it for historical, scientific, horticultural and recreational purposes.

The 1957 issue of the Living World Journal comprises ten (10) Articles, one (1) Report, a Dedication to one outstanding naturalist and some errata on the last issue of the Journal.
