Abstract

Trinidad and Tobago is a signatory to the Paris Climate Change Agreement. With this, we have indicated that we support worldwide efforts to reduce carbon dioxide emissions thus reducing the effects of climate change. We acknowledge that anthropogenic climate change is in fact occurring, and that we must do our part to reduce carbon dioxide emissions which have steadily risen since the industrial revolution in the late 1800s and early 1900s due to the combustion of fossil fuels.
