Proteides mercurius grenadensis Pinchon & Enrico (Hesperiidae) in Grenada, with notes on Nyctelius nyctelius Latreille (Hesperiidae) and other Lepidoptera observed, October 1995

Abstract

This report is an account of the author’s limited butterfly collection activity during an October 1995 trip to Grenada. He describes this collection and distinguishes a minor difference between the Grenada and Trinidad species, posing a tentative hypothesis for subspecies status. This is interesting but certainly worth further investigation.
