Population of Oilbirds, Steatornis caripensis, Recorded on Christmas Bird Counts, Trinidad, 1969-2008

Abstract

The TTFNC continues to maintain the tradition of counting Oilbirds at Christmas in Trinidad, at the Dunstan Cave, Asa Wright Nature Centre. This report highlights the encroachment of man and his direct influence on the bird’s numbers from 1969 through 2008.
