Guest Editorial: State of the Environment Land Use in Trinidad and Tobago

Abstract

John Spence makes the case for sustainable land use planning in Trinidad and Tobago. In this Guest Editorial, Professor Spence laments the loss of prime agricultural lands to housing developments and squatting. Furthermore, vast, ecologically fragile areas that should be remain pristine are being gutted for agriculture.
