This is a memorial and tribute to Peter R. Bacon, a Past President of the TTFNC. It highlights his academic experience and his practice as the consummate naturalist in Trinidad and Tobago. The authors pay particular attention to his invaluable contributions to the TTFNC and his successful lobbying efforts for the conservation of the environment.
