The year 2022 was marked by the lifting of restrictions imposed at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, bringing a resurgence of outdoor activities and observations. While this year’s issue remains fairly slim, we have already begun to see an increase in submissions towards the end of 2022, which should be reflected in a more substantial 2023 issue. The 2022 issue of Living World Journal comprises an Editorial, two Research Papers, two Nature Notes and the regular Report of the Trinidad and Tobago Bird Status and Distribution Committee.

This is a digital activity book, produced in partnership with CRESTT, which is designed to encourage children to get involved in birds and birdwatching.

The Trinidad and Tobago Bird Guide is the latest publication from the Trinidad and Tobago Field Naturalist’s Club.

The guide targets the casual or beginner birdwatcher/naturalist and is intended to introduce persons to our birdlife. It features just over 250 species, with priority on those species most likely to be encountered by a beginner/intermediate birdwatcher, so as not to be overwhelming.

This is a folding guide, in the same style as the wildlife, wildflower and butterfly guides and is conveniently sized at approx. 3.5″ by 8.75″ (9 cm by 22 cm) when folded and 24″ by 8.75″ (61 cm by 22 cm) when spread flat.
